Exercise #2: What I didn’t do this weekend…

by JM

The time has come around again, and I have an exercise that puts a lot in your hands, but has a lot of potential. Also, seeing as it’s now NaNo season going on, it can be as long or as short as you want it to be.

The exercise is simple. You know what you did this weekend. Probably quite a few people know what you did this weekend (or what you’re going to do) and have done or will do the same.

What I want to know is what you didn’t do this weekend…

The possibilities are endless.

What I didn’t do this weekend? Well I havent even picked up my story and worked on it in so long I think it has dust bunnies growing on it. I started working on a romance novel back in march….good start…but I got side traced with life….sigh.. I need a good kick to get me motivated again. I also didnt do laundry..hehe

  2. Jaime Says:

Laundry? Who wants to do laundry? Hehehe. I’d love to read your writing sometime. :)

  3. Alfa Says:

    I didn’t blog enough. :(

  4. Sara Says:

I didn’t start my diet. I also have not done that any weekend this year so far. Maybe next weekend.

    But probably not.

  5. Jaime Says:

Alfa - The magic number - amount of time - for changing a habit is three weeks. Want to write more, quit smoking, start a new diet? Do it for three weeks and then it smooth(er) sailing from there. :)

Sara - Ugh, I know how that goes. How about this - when you start your diet, you can email me any time you have a craving or splurged a little bit. Having someone to diet with is a fantastic way to keep yourself on track.

  6. Sara Says:

Sounds good Jaime. Maybe after the holidays.
