Basically, one person buys a journal. That person puts on the site

* The theme of the journal (traveling, love, where you’re from, etc)
* How long you should keep the journal (usually one to two weeks)
* How many pages you can use (most don’t care, but I’ve seen one to four pages)

Easy, isn’t it? You can send a journal around the office, around the country, or even around the world to people who want to write about the theme you’ve determined. I’ve seen themes about everything from poetry and short stories to ‘express yourself’.
