There are a lot of little reminders to put up today, so please bear with me. This is what happens when I go on vacation.

The next edition of the Scribes Blog Carnival will go up on November 5th. The deadline to submit is November 1st, and you are limited to two submissions. If you’d like to submit your links or want more information, check out the Scribes Carnival page.

Although I am no longer doing the Scribes newsletter, I still have the previous PDFs. If you are interested in one or more of them, contact me and I’ll send you what you request.

I’ve caught up on answering comments from my vacation time. Thanks to everyone who responded to the burned book post.

I’ll be removing the book reviews, but they won’t be far away…

I was going to wait a while to announce it, but since Elisa has already mentioned it… Next week I’ll be taking over The Book Stacks. The lovely Elisa asked me to take care of the blog she has worked so hard to cultivate and I couldn’t be more honored to do so. I hope you’ll join me over there as I put my hand to more book reviews, being brave enough to post my huge reading list, and other things.
