Little Reminders

by JM

reminders.jpgThere are a lot of little reminders to put up today, so please bear with me. This is what happens when I go on vacation.

Scribes Blog Carnival

The next edition of the Scribes Blog Carnival will go up on November 5th. The deadline to submit is November 1st, and you are limited to two submissions. If you’d like to submit your links or want more information, check out the Scribes Carnival page.

Scribes Newsletter

Although I am no longer doing the Scribes newsletter, I still have the previous PDFs. If you are interested in one or more of them, contact me and I’ll send you what you request.

Comments

I’ve caught up on answering comments from my vacation time. Thanks to everyone who responded to the burned book post.

NaNoWriMo

In a move that makes me wonder if I’m addicted to stress, I’ve joined up at NaNoWriMo. Feel free to add me to your friends list. My page is here.

NaBloPoMo

This is my first year participating, and I’m quite confident I’ll be able to do it not only here on Fiction Scribe, but also on Write Anyway and my personal blog. This is my page here. Add me as a friend if you like. I’ll be offering a prize to participants as soon as I can figure out what the criteria to win the prize is.

Book Contest

Like free books? Check out Virtual Book Tours. The authors on tour are offering free copies of their books to people who comment on their tour stops. I’ll be hosting three of the authors on the rest of the Fridays this month. Stop by for your chance to win!

Write Anyway

The theme over at Write Anyway is time. Stop over there for some inspiration.

Author Interview PDF

I haven’t forgotten about the author interviews PDF. I really just need the time to put it all together, edit, format… All that good stuff. If you’re absolutely set on having a copy, feel free to contact me and tell me to get my butt into gear.

Book Reviews

I’ll be removing the book reviews, but they won’t be far away…

The Book Stacks

I was going to wait a while to announce it, but since Elisa has already mentioned it… Next week I’ll be taking over The Book Stacks. The lovely Elisa asked me to take care of the blog she has worked so hard to cultivate and I couldn’t be more honored to do so. I hope you’ll join me over there as I put my hand to more book reviews, being brave enough to post my huge reading list, and other things.

And that’s it for announcements! That wasn’t so bad, was it?
