Little Reminders

by JM

reminders.jpgHello, hello and welcome to another Monday. I hope it’s not one of ‘those’ Mondays for you. It isn’t for me. I woke up ready to work, that’s for sure. I have a lot to do (as always), starting with this week’s list of little reminders.

Remember, some might have the same titles, but the writing underneath might have changed.

Scribes Blog Carnival

The next edition of the Scribes Blog Carnival will go up on November 5th. The deadline to submit is November 1st, and you are limited to two submissions. If you’d like to submit your links or want more information, check out the Scribes Carnival page.

I’m especially looking for thoughts about NaNoWriMo and NaBloPoMo.

Scribes Newsletter

Although I am no longer doing the Scribes newsletter, I still have the previous PDFs. If you are interested in one or more of them, contact me and I’ll send you what you request.

NaNoWriMo

Are you ready for NaNo? Do you have an idea of what you’ll be writing about? Write about it on your blog and submit it to the blog carnival. Also check in here through November for NaNo breaks where you can rant, rave, or simply sit and rock back and forth if you like. I’m here, if you’d like to add me as a friend.

NaBloPoMo

This is my first year participating, and I’m quite confident I’ll be able to do it not only here on Fiction Scribe, but also on Write Anyway and my personal blog. This is my page here.

If you check out the prize page for NaBlo, you might see a familiar name there soon… I’m offering a copy of “No One Cares What You Had for Lunch: 100 Ideas for Your Blog”

Remember, you have to be in it to win it!

Book Contest

Like free books? Check in every Friday here at Fiction Scribe and comment on the interviews posted for your chance to win a copy of the book the author is on tour for. You already have a chance at:

Mayra Calvani’s Dark Lullaby
and
L. Diane Wolfe’s Mike - Circle of Friends Book IV

Write Anyway

The theme over at Write Anyway is passion! Stop over there for some inspiration.

Author Interview PDF

I haven’t forgotten about the author interviews PDF. I really just need the time to put it all together, edit, format… All that good stuff. If you’re absolutely set on having a copy, feel free to contact me and tell me to get my butt into gear.

The Book Stacks

My first post is up over at The Book Stacks! We’re having some technical difficulties, so I’m not the post author yet, but it is me. I promise! Head on over and play the ‘A Book by any Other Name’ game.

That’s all for today. Enjoy the last full week of October and have some fun!
