Little Reminders

reminders.jpgAs per usual, I have a few little reminders for you.

The next edition of the Scribes blog carnival will go up September 3rd and is accepting submissions until August 30th. You can go here for more details and to submit your post(s). If you are unfamiliar with blog carnivals: If you have a post about writing, submit it to my blog carnival, and I will feature a link to you blog and a link to the specific post in the next edition.

The Scribe newsletter is a PDF that goes out at the beginning of each month and features things like what is going on around the 451Press network, publishing opportunities, a letter from me, and more. If you would like to subscribe to the newsletter and/or contribute to it, please contact me using the contact me button under the about paragraph on the right.

I am still taking submissions for 200 words. Send me 200 words from any place in your current work in progress and I’ll post it up with a critique.

I’m also taking submissions for creative spaces. Email me a picture(s) of your creative space(s) along with a short description and I’ll post it up here.

The winner of the Pet Peeves contest will go up tomorrow. Check in to see who won and will get their pet peeve posted as Pet Peeve #32.

Throughout the month of August, you have the chance to win $300, $200, or $100 just by commenting on 451Press sites.
