NaNoWriMo: Week One Done
NaNoWriMo week one is well and truly done! If you are right on schedule, you’ll have typed at least 11,667 words.
So the natural question is: What’s your word count?
With everything that happened last week – especially Tuesday – I almost have to admire anyone who is above the minimum word count for the first week. How did you go with writing amidst all the chatter, events, etc?
I’m curious about what everyone is writing. What’s your genre? Is this your first NaNoWriMo or are you a veteran? Do you have plan for this round or are you going with the flow? Are you participating in any region wars? Speak up and give your mind a little rest from the ‘wordcountwordcountwordcount’ mantra.
I have been writing, but I couldn’t tell you the word count as I have been doing most of it long hand. I’ve been playing around with some ideas in my mind, but I’m actively working on women’s fiction. I highly doubt I’m at the goal for the week, but I’m not worrying too much about it. Stress isn’t good for you, you know.
Once more, just because I can and I find it fun…
