One Page Challenge
DAY ONE
Another day of resisting getting my writing done. Actually, it wasn’t so much resisting as opting to do work on my new gig. (No, I’m not leaving Fiction Scribe.) I did, however, get my one page done, and it was for one of my main character scene rewrites.
Finally, I know.
She’s fleshing out as less wishy-washy and more spunky. She has issues, fears, annoyances… She isn’t complete yet, but she’s as complete as I like my characters to start off as at the beginning of a novel.
Overall, this writing challenge has been interesting in the getting me to write every day. It definitely helps in that with everything going on, I’ve gotten used to setting things down for days at a time. By the time I come back to it, I need time to go over notes again, reread what I wrote, etc. This way, less of my time is spent doing that and more of my time is spent doing the actual writing I need to get done.
