Scribe Notes

by JM

Sometimes I wish that Mondays didn’t exist. Then I remember that scary episode of Garfield when he wished away Mondays and the world went completely out of whack.

Then I start wishing for three-day weekends…

*Don’t forget to submit your posts to the Scribe Blog Carnival. I won’t be around for the first Monday of October (I’ll be sputtering and stumbling over my words as I chair a panel at Conflux) so you have even more time than usual. Remember, two entries per blog site.

*This is a reminder that Tor is giving away free ebooks when you sign up for their newsletter. Something for nearly nothing. Sounds good to me.

*I’ll have some more contest submission announcements coming up this week, so be sure to stop back soon.

*NaNoWriMo is coming… Are you starting to get ready yet?

*This is the last announcement (I think) I will make in regards to accepting guest posts to cover the time I will be away. I know I mentioned before about being pretty much covered, but I’m still open to accepting posts. The deadline for getting them to me is September 26th. Kudos to you if you can get them to me by September 26th, my time zone.

*I’ve found a lovely site that helps me to relax and get my writing done. iSerenity has all kinds of background noise - traffic, a typewriter, etc. I recommend checking it out.

*And finally, if you have been, are, or will be emailing me, keep in mind that I am very busy preparing for being gone and what I’m doing while gone, so I might take a little while to respond to your email. I promise I’m not being rude!
