Scribe Notes

by

Well, here it is: My last Scribe Notes post before I’m off and about. There are only a few announcements, so here goes.

*I will be away at Conflux (and visiting friends after that) from October 2nd until October 12th (or somewhere around there). You can email me or contact me however you like during that time, but I can’t promise I’ll be able to get on the internet while I’m away. I will try, though.

*Submit your blog post to the Scribes Blog Carnival. Because I won’t be here the first Monday of October, you have an extra week to get those posts in. Remember - two blog posts per blog, but not per person!

*While I’m away there will be guest posts from some fascinating authors. Please say hello and don’t be shy.

*If you haven’t been there yet, check out The Plot. There are some great books showcased there and all the authors have interviewed characters from their books.

*Today is your last chance to win a copy of Hal Lanse’s Read Well, Think Well, a book about encouraging your child’s critical thinking skills through reading. Head over to The Book Stacks to play the game for your chance to win.

*I’ve added some new entries to the Publishing Opportunities section, so be sure to check that out.

There you have it. Like I said, I’ll be around today, tomorrow, and Wednesday (a bit), so be sure to get in touch with me for anything you need before I leave if you need a prompt response.
