Scribe Notes

by

Okay! Time to get going and catch up.

According to the polls I put up, almost all of you are participating in NaNoWriMo and most of you would prefer some sort of inspiration along the way here on site. I am more than happy to provide what inspiration I can. There will be Saturday NaNo chats and inspiration during the week.

I am writing, for those of you who are curious, but I can only estimate word count because I am doing it longhand.

Tuesday is actually Melbourne Cup Day, the accumulation of a weekend of parties, betting, other horse races and all sorts of fun things. Personally, my husband took Monday off so we went on a mini-vacation. (Thus the late posting.) I still don’t quite understand how a whole country can get so excited about a horse race, but then again, the US has the Superbowl…

Because of everything going on both online and offline, I decided to push back the Scribes Carnival deadline and the date for putting it up. I know most of you are busy with NaNoWriMo and/or NaBloPoMo, but hopefully you can get the time to squeeze in a suitable blog post or two…

Click on this link to submit your blog posts. The carnival will be posted on the tenth.

Be sure to check in later this week. I have a special guest who is talking about the decision to self-publish and some tips if you’re thinking about going that route.

In closing… Go write! Best of luck, speed and inspiration with your writing.
