Weekly Writing Challenge
Hello ladies and gentlemen!
For the past two weeks, you have been able to slack off as you please because I have been away at Conflux (which I have yet to write about. Tsk.). This week we are back in action, back to work, back to the challenge.
The work has been piling up, and now it’s time to get going once again!
This week your challenge is to write 250 words in each project you are working on. (This may inspire you to narrow down your works in progress and focus on just one or two, if you’re like me and have trouble doing that sometimes.)
Yes, 250 words. Per project. There’s nothing like a minimum work count to help you at least get something down on paper for you to edit later. That’s the biggest step (getting the first draft done) and why I challenge you with this for this week’s challenge.
You are not going through this alone, however, as I have two projects on the go currently. My fantasy novel I have been talking about forever and have restarted entirely too many times as well as a romance. [Insert gasps and confused looks here.]
Yes, I know, but it doesn’t hurt to give it a shot.
If you are one who is participating these challenges, let me know and I’ll figure out if I can get together some prizes to offer the participants for completing the challenges.
So have fun, drink a lot of coffee/chai/etc, and get writing.
