Kelly at Tiny Treasury was kind enough to remind me that April is National Poetry month.

In this post she mentions my all time favorite children’s poet - Shel Silverstein. He wrote one of my favorite books, which still is on my shelf, The Giving Tree.

    I remember reading this book. I love nostalgia. Now I want to go to the library and read it.

    I love this book. one of my Aunt’s gave it to me when I was a child because it was her favorite, now that one along with a new copy sit in my children’s room.

    Richard - You should. I’d like to get his books The Missing Piece and Where the Sidewalk Ends to go along with The Giving Tree.

    Erinn - It was my favorite childhood book, and I gave a copy of it to my brother on his wedding day.
